Same customer. Two websites.
The difference between the two packages isn't a page count. It's whether somebody can give you their business at ten at night without speaking to you. Watch the same evening play out twice.

Someone in Crown Point is looking for a salon on their phone.
The site opens fast, reads properly, and tells them your hours.
So they tap the number, because that is all they can do.
It rings out. They will probably call tomorrow. Some of them call somebody else tonight.

The same person, the same search, the same phone.
The same fast page. This one has a second button on it.
Saturday at two. The slots already taken are grayed out, so there is nothing to argue about.
The slot is held, they have an email, and you have a message waiting. You never picked up the phone.
On the $499 site
- Someone searches for a salon at 9:40 on a Tuesday night and finds you.
- The page opens quickly and tells them your hours.
- You're closed, so the only thing they can do is tap the number.
- It rings out. They may call tomorrow. Some of them call somebody else tonight.
On the $899 site
- Same search, same person, same fast page.
- There's a second button on it: book a time.
- They pick Saturday at two. Slots already taken are grayed out.
- The slot is held, they get an email, and you get a message waiting for the morning. You never picked up the phone.
That was this website doing it. No plugins, no video file, and nothing downloaded from anywhere else. If it ran smoothly on your phone just now, that is your answer about whether I can build you something fast.

Which one is you
Take the $499 if your website only has to get you found, make you look like a real business, and get the phone ringing. A plumber, a builder, a shop, a restaurant with a menu. That is most businesses, and you are better off spending the difference somewhere else.
Take the $899 if people have to book time with you, or send you details before you can quote. Salons, tattooists, groomers, photographers, driving instructors, therapists, anyone doing estimates. Booking software normally costs $20 to $50 a month forever. This is once, on your own domain, and no fee comes to me afterwards.
The catch with booking. The rest of what I build has no moving parts, which is why it can't break on its own. A booking system does have moving parts. So it's built to fail safely: if it ever stops, your pages still load and your phone number still works. The site never goes dark because booking did.
My first five clients pay $349
Instead of $499, in exchange for a short testimonial once you're happy and permission to show your site here as example work. That's the whole trade. No monthly fee, and the site and the domain are yours outright either way. After five this stops.
Before you decide, check what you have now
The free site check will tell you what's wrong with your current site in about ten seconds, with no signup. It's also worth reading what I found across 1,282 local business websites, because 166 of them returned nothing at all and their owners mostly don't know.
